Sunita Williams, The American-Indian Astronaut; the third trip to the Space

Born into an Indian family, Captain Sunita Williams is to take off on her 3rd mission to ISS; prior in 2006 and 2012. She joined NASA in 1998. A joint venture between NASA and BOEING Company. The takeoff is set at 8:04 am IST from Kennedy Space Center on 7th May 2024.

Total of 322 days in space, Sunita is excited to call her visit “going back home.”.

Sunita, a marathon lover, previously held a record of between 50 and 40 hours of space.
