Indian Elections; Rape and Video Probe with MPA Nominee and Former MLA in Hot Water

Karnataka MP from Hassan district, Prajwal Revanna along with his father H.D. Revanna, a former MLA, have been booked under sexual harassment along with the release of a sex tape. A special investigation team has been set up to investigate the allegation placed on JD(S) MP nominee Prajwal Revanna, who has fled India to avoid arrest.

Grandson and son of former PM H.D Deve Gowda. The special investigation team has passed a lookout circular throughout India for Prajwal Revanna’s arrest.

Sources that PM Modi may have assisted Prajwal in escaping the police, as JD(S) are a key ally of the BJP in Karnataka. In a statement through his lawyer, Prajwal stated that he’ll face SIT and that the truth will prevail. H.D. Revanna on the other hand is currently present and is ready to face charges.

On the political front, the BJP local leaders have distanced them from JD(S) as elections are up on their sleeves.
