A lot of people poop on it, and their eyes roll back so far that I feel like I’m at an audition for the next “The Undertaker.” It’s the same story my aunt told me about how she really wanted to leave the movie theater after 15 minutes and puke blood, but her boys sitting next to her put her in a straightjacket and strapped her to the seat. Me? I don’t understand. Some people may say bad things about Maari, but I’m here to tell you she’s great. A gem in the Mass-Masala type, which is only found in South Indian movies. I’d even say it’s one of the best masala movies of the 2010s.
