‘Cast Of The Archies’ Everything You Need to Know About

Welcome to Riverdale, India! Things are a little different here, but the milkshakes are still great. Zoya Akhtar, the director and writer of Lust Stories, reimagines the famous Archie Comics by setting the gang in 1964 in an Anglo-Indian hill station, which is a town at a high elevation with a view of a valley. Or, as the clip below says, “The year of girls and boys, rock ‘n’ roll, and a lot more.” You can now watch the first-ever Archie Comics movie on Netflix. The Archies: What’s the Story Behind?

The Archies is a coming-of-age movie set in India in the 1960s in a made-up town called Riverdale. It follows the lives of Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, Ethel, and Dilton, who are the town’s favorite group of teens. In The Archies, friendship, freedom, love, sadness, and rebellion are looked at through the lens of the unique Anglo-Indian society.

These Archies will make their mark in song, just like the ones that came before them (the original Archies made the classic earworm “Sugar, Sugar”). The cast of the archies even showed the Tudum crowd a short clip of one of their shows.

Agastya Nanda as Archie Andrews

Archie Andrews, Riverdale’s teen Casanova, is cute and charming. He really loves music and loves playing with his band, The Archies. He is faithful and doesn’t care about himself, but he can’t decide between Betty and Veronica. He also shows a lot of emotion, which often gets him into trouble.

Khushi Kapoor as Betty Cooper

Betty Cooper is the sweet girl next door. It’s true that she is strong-willed and kind, but she can’t get Archie for herself. Betty loves to write in her diary, shop at her dad’s store, and bake with her mom. She can see the good in everyone, which makes her the best friend I could ever have.

Suhana Khan as Veronica Lodge

The most valuable girl in town, Veronica Lodge, is set on getting what she wants and won’t let anyone get in her way. The boys love Ronnie because she is cool and sassy. She is very sure of herself, which makes her stand out in Riverdale’s old-fashioned beauty. Her house is huge, but her heart is even bigger. She is too kind, loves her friends deeply, and is closest to Betty.

Vedang Raina as Reggie Mantle

He knows he’s good-looking. Reggie is the silly jokester in the group. He is self-centered, quick-witted, and sensitive in secret, but he doesn’t always show how he feels in public. She’s his secret love, but that doesn’t stop him from going out with other girls in Riverdale. Rag loves himself more than anyone else.

Mihir Ahuja as Jughead Jones

Judge Jughead is Archie’s best friend. He is a foodie who is known for his huge stomach and unique hats. But he’s scared of girls, while his friend is fine with girls. He is surprisingly smart and funny, and he likes to go with the flow. Jughead plays drums for The Archies when he’s not working at Pop Tate’s, Riverdale’s favorite diner, where he often eats more than he serves.

Dot as Ethel Muggs

Ethel Muggs is Riverdale’s most talented and unique hairdresser. She is underrated and strange. She is happy with her job and hopes for a better future. Ethel is a true friend who is known for having a nice personality. She gives Jughead all of her food to win his heart because she has a soft spot for him.

Yuvraj Menda as Dilton Doiley

Teenagers in Riverdale think Dilton Doiley is the best and coolest person they know. Dilton is always in his room learning a new subject or working on an idea. He is always teaching the other kids how smart he is. On the other hand, Dilton hides a secret that no one else knows, and he has a hard time accepting it.
