  • The BJP, the governing party in India, has accused Pakistan of harboring an Indian YouTuber.
  • Rathee is accused of being a Pakistani spy, and his wife, who is a Pakistani, is being harbored by Dawood Ibrahim.

The RSS-backed BJP has for another time accused Pakistanis of harboring an Indian traitor, part of its election manifesto.

Keep in mind that this is not the first time that a party, whether India or Pakistan, has used slogans against each other. However, in the last decade and a half, there has been a significant rise on the Indian side; politics of hatred. Politicians have capitalized on the memories of 1947.

Order is the first form of regularity, requiring humans to work in groups, making herding an instinct not to be ignored; no one is perfect. Herding at different levels and in different places has created diversity. It has been blatant ignorance that has resulted in the development of fear; historically been a necessity.

Dhruv Rathee, on the Indian side, is one of those who recognizes this development in history and has blatantly called out this and many aspects of the BJP’s corruption.

Rathee’s blatant rationalism in calling out the BJP’s government might affect the Indian elections. His subjects in recent include the arrest of opposition leaders, the elite corruption aided by the BJP, and the election bond scandal.

The BJP’s media cell has accused Rathee’s wife of being of Pakistani origins while Rathee is an ISI agent living in Karachi under Dawood’s protection; however, Rathee’s wife is of German origins. Rathee, on the other hand, has also called out Pakistan in his videos for its atrocities.

In the wake of the election, the BJP’s desperation may point out their conscious crisis, while Pakistan seems not to have come out of its internal rifts.
