Earlier this week, Bollywood’s ‘Bhidu’ Jackie Shroff recalled the time when he and his mother teamed up to save his former relationship.

Talking in India’s famous ”The Kapil Sharma Show”, Jackie Shroff rolled out some memories from his childhood. Speaking about his teenage love affairs, the actor shared a story of when his girlfriend wished to meet his mother. Since he had told his girlfriend that he prefers to live alone rather than with his big family, Jackie Shroff talked her mother into helping him.
The mother-son duo then teamed up to save the young relationship while the girl had no idea what she was into. Admiring his mother’s quick support, Jackie Shroff laughingly said, ”Once the girl demanded that she wanted to come home and meet my mother. I lied to her saying that I don’t stay with my mother, instead told her that I stay alone in a PG and convinced my mother to go out of the house for some time. My mother supported me and stayed out for 30 minutes”.
Archana Puran Singh spills some beans on Jackie Shroff’s struggling days!
Hearing the hilarious yet lovely story, the whole audience laughed and admired the bonding of the actor with his mother. Apparently, Jackie Shroff has spent his childhood and struggling days in a chawl located in Mumbai’s Teen Bhatti area in a joint family. Adding to the trip down memory lane, actor and the show’s judge Archana Puran Singh also played her part.
On Jackie Shroff’s philanthropic nature, the judge recalled the actor’s struggling days when he would help others beyond his financial bindings. She expressed, ”I have known Jackie from his struggle days. Those days we were not well-off but still, whenever Jackie used to see beggars, he used to ask me for money and give it to those who were in need”.
”Archana had helped me with Rupee 1 five times that equals to Rs 5!”
Responsively, Jackie Shroff quoted the money he had taken from Archana Puran Singh and summed them up as of today. Trying to return the favor, the actor said, “Yes, Archana had helped me with Rupee 1 five times that equals to Rs 5. Today I want to take this opportunity and return the favor by giving Rs 500 to Archana”.
It was indeed an adorable exchange of words between the two long friends while the admirers got to know more. The travel agent turned Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff previously in an interview shared the unexpected life-changing encounter. Once, while he was at a bus stop, someone came up to Jackie Shroff and offered money if he clicks some pictures as a model for him.
