Have traveling plans but can’t fulfill them because of the empty pockets? No worries, the Indian government has got your back. Apparently, to ease tourism policies and boost tourism in the country, the government has taken a decision. Earlier this week, India’s Union Tourism Minister Prahlad Singh Patel announced that the Indian government will now reward travelers and will be responsible for their traveling expenses.

Indeed, it is a beneficial decision for the country as well as for the Indians reflecting upon the aim to boost local tourism. In order to receive the traveling bounty, the authorities have levied some restrictions which need to be adhered to. The decision taken last week, on Friday reveals that the Indian government will now be covering your traveling expense if you visit 15 domestic places, annually.

Here’s the official announcement of the implemented decision!

Certainly, the world is full of surprises along with humans ready to explore it but lack of money always creates hurdles. According to Indian media reports, last Friday, Tourism Minister Prahlad Singh Patel announced the decision while attending a two-day tourism conference. The ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ pledge!

Moving on, the 15 destinations cycle followed by incentives was confirmed as per the initiative of ‘Paryatan Parv’. Later, the decision was then made public through the official Twitter handle of the Indian Ministry of Tourism. Calling it a ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ campaign which holds a pledge regarding the avid local tourists ready to explore the unseen sights of India.

Particularly, the pledge endorses, ”I resolve, that is shall dedicate myself to witness India’s amazing diversity and realize the mission of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’, by visiting at least 15 tourist places of my incredible India by 2022 and should inspire others also to do so”.

”We should honor these people as brand ambassadors of Indian Tourism!”

Well, speaking at the ending ceremony, Prahlad Singh Patel explained how to submit the evidential photographs for verification. ”The tourism ministry will fund the travel expenses of tourists who visit 15 destinations in the country in a year and submit the photos on our website”, he stated.

Moreover, the Tourism Minister called such interested tourists the promoters of Indian tourism and that they should be appreciated. Further, Patel expressed, ”We should honor these people as brand ambassadors of Indian Tourism”. Apart from the applied incentive, the authorities will even be facilitating those candidates interested in becoming a tour guide.
