BCCI Announced India Squad For World Cup 2023

The One-Day International World Cup 2023 is set to begin on October 5 in India, and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the final 15-man squad that will compete in the tournament.

According to the announced list, KL Rahul’s name is included in the 15-member team, however, Sanju Samson’s name is not included in the squad. In this competition, Rohit Sharma will serve as the captain of the Men in Blue team.

The players Tilak Varma and Prasidh Krishna, who are presently representing India in Sri Lanka at the Asia Cup 2023 that is taking place right now, have not been selected for the World Cup roster.

Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravichandran Ashwin, both experienced spinners, did not make the cut for the Indian team that was announced by Ajit Agarkar to compete in the major event.

The absence of these top players has caused questions to be raised, especially considering the steady contributions they have made during the current season, as stated in the report from the media.
