Bumrah Misses Nepal Match For ‘Personal Reasons’

Jasprit Bumrah, an Indian bowler, has returned home to India from Sri Lanka and will not be available for India’s match against Nepal on Monday. The match is scheduled to take place in India.

Bumrah has communicated his desire to spend more time with his wife, who is expecting the couple’s first child, to the management of the Indian squad as well as the Indian board.

Bumrah Misses Nepal’s Asia Cup 2023 Match

The request made by the speedster was granted by the BCCI, and as a consequence, Bumrah boarded a flight back to Mumbai this afternoon. Soon after the conclusion of the Super 4 stage, he will become a member of the team.
Bumrah had been out for a significant amount of time due to an injury but has just recently made his comeback to international cricket.

After a few days’ vacation in Sri Lanka, the Indian team will play their Super 4 game, and Bumrah has notified the BCCI that he will be returning as soon as possible after the match.

Bumrah wore the colors of India for the first time since he was forced to withdraw from the T20 World Cup due to an ongoing back ailment one year ago. This occurred during India’s tour of Ireland a month ago, which was the first time he has played for India since then. Because of the injury, he was unable to participate in a number of bilateral series, the Indian Premier League 2023, and the final of the World Test Championship earlier this summer for India. His ability to make a recovery in time for the World Cup has been called into question.

In the series against Ireland, in which the pacer guided India to a 2-0 victory and also finished as the leading wicket-taker with four scalps, such misgivings were disregarded and disregarded completely.
