Shahrukh Khan Receives Death Threat, Mumbai Police Launch Investigation

Bollywood icon Shahrukh Khan has received a death threat, prompting immediate action from the Mumbai Police, who have registered a case and launched an investigation. The threat came via phone and was traced to Raipur in Chhattisgarh.

Suspect from Raipur Identified

The accused has been identified as Faizan, a Raipur resident. Mumbai Police are working with local authorities to bring him to Mumbai for questioning to understand the threat’s motive and ensure Khan’s safety.

This incident comes amid a wave of recent threats against Bollywood celebrities, including Shahrukh’s colleague Salman Khan, raising alarms over the safety of high-profile figures in the industry. Celebrities like Shahrukh have been no strangers to security risks for years, especially given their visibility and influence.

Police Coordinating with Raipur Authorities

Mumbai Police have already notified the Raipur police about the situation. However, Raipur’s SSP Santosh Kumar Singh mentioned they haven’t yet received an official communication from Mumbai. Bandra Police have registered an FIR under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code as part of their effort to tighten the case.

Before Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan was also threatened by the murderer who killed Punjabi rapper Sidhu Moosewala.

A History of Threats for Shahrukh Khan

This isn’t the first time Shahrukh Khan has faced security threats. Last year, after the success of his films “Pathaan” and “Jawaan,” similar threats surfaced, leading the Maharashtra government to provide him with Y+ security.
