Sanjay Dutt replaced in ‘Son Of Sardaar 2’

The Indian movie Son of Sardar 2 has replaced Sanjay Dutt with actor Ravi Kishan. Sources added Sanjay was to share screen with Ajay Devgan, and Marunal Thakur. However, Sanjay’s visa rejection by UK forced Ajay and the team to re-cast, replacing Sanjay with Ravi Kishan.

Sanjay Dutt, renowned for the Munna Bhai franchise, was part of the Bombay bombing in 1993. Accused of possession of illegal weapons, and part in the Bombay Bombing, Sanjay sought a long sentence till 2016. Though, Sanjay has completed his sentence, his past still haunts him.

Furthermore, UK authorities have denied Sanjay’s visa application. However, simultaneously, the USA has approved Sanjay’s visa application. Part of the film “Son of Sardar 2” is to shot in UK. However, due to Sanjay’s visa rejection, the producing team decided to recast, handing over Sanjay’s role to Ravi Kishan.

Additionally, Ravi Kishan had recently done a great job in ‘Laapataa Ladies’. Moreover, his venture into the film was noticed by the film producers, casting him in place of Sanjay.
