Boney Kapoor Has Confirmed The Publication Of Sridevi Biography, ‘Sridevi: The Life Of a Legend.’

Sridevi, the legendary actress, died in 2018, but her memorable performances and films will live on in our memories. In light of the imprint she left on the world, her husband, Boney Kapoor, has revealed that he plans to publish a sridevi biography of her life. After many years, producer has confirmed that a biography titled Sridevi – The Life of a Legend will be released this year.

Sridevi Biography Confirmed This Year

In a recent interview with the Indian Express, Boney Kapoor revealed that Dhiraj Kumar will write the biography. “Sridevi was a natural force. She was happiest when she could share her art with her fans on screen.

She was, however, a fiercely private person. Dhiraj Kumar was someone she considered to be family. He is a columnist, writer, and researcher. We are delighted that he is writing a book about her extraordinary life “Boney stated.

According to the aforementioned publication, Dhiraj is also excited to have his debut book based on the unforgettable diva. He stated, “I am overjoyed that my debut novel will be published by the venerable Westland Books. Anish Chandy, my literary agent, made this possible.

I am grateful to Boney Kapoor and his family, Latha and Sanjay Ramaswamy, Suryakala, Maheshwari and Karthik, Reena and Sandeep Marwah for their permission and support.”

According to the publishers, the book provides a comprehensive look at Sridevi’s life and will change readers’ perceptions of the icon. “The wealth of research that went into this book drew us in. Dhiraj Kumar’s friendship with Sridevi and her family allows him to provide a unique insight into the very private star’s inner world. This book will reintroduce readers to an icon “Westland Books executive editor Sanghamitra Biswas said.

Meanwhile, English Vinglish, Sridevi’s critically acclaimed film, is set for a massive theatrical release in China to commemorate her fifth death anniversary. The Gauri Shinde-directed film marked the actor’s fifteen-year return to the big screen. On February 24, the film will be released on over 6000 screens in China.
