Wedding bells ring in the Bollywood world as 2023’s first wedding might take place between none other than Suniel Shetty’s daughter, Athiya Shetty, who is getting married to cricketer KL Rahul this month, on January 23.
We know you might have thought of Kiara and Sidharth, but they aren’t ready to tie the knot that soon.
It’s great news because both KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty have been dating for so long. It’s another cricket and Bollywood collaboration after Anushka and Virat.
Athiya Shetty And KL Rahul Ties Knot ON 23rd January
On Friday, as per HTimes “the invites have been sent out to the couple’s guest list and decor has been finalized as there are less than 10 days left till the couple ties the knot at the Hera Pheri actor’s farmhouse in Khandala, Maharashtra.”
As per the sources, the three-day wedding festival will begin with a ladies’ night on January 21 that will include Athiya’s close female friends such as actor Akansha Ranjan.
Following that day, the Sangeet ceremony will also take place where Athiya’s brother Ahan Shetty is expected to perform with parents Suniel and Maya Shetty.
It seems like family and close friends will be part of the wedding. Sources said, “It is an extremely close-knit family affair. Only friends and family members will be a part of the wedding. It’s most likely that you may not see many industry peeps.”
Expected Guests & Stylists
Here are the expected guests who will be part of the wedding, MS Dhoni, Salman Khan, Virat Kohli, Jackie Shroff, and other well-known names from the film and cricket industries will attend the wedding.
Hence it’s not confirmed about the groom or bride’s stylists. But as per rumored Ami Patel, who styles Alia Bhatt, Sara Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, and more, will be styling the bride-to-be and as for the groom, he will be styled by Rahul Vijay who is known for styling Vicky Kaushal, Mrunal Thakur, Arjun Kapoor, and Rajkummar Rao.
This year another big wedding might take place, Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra. They have already revealed the wedding destination as well.
