Entertaining the world for more than a decade now, Bollywood’s legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan still rules many hearts. Apparently, the increasing age and deteriorating health once again landed Big B into the hospital. Remembering his late mother, Amitabh Bachchan penned down a heartwarming letter after returning from the hospital on his official Twitter.

Undoubtedly, Amitabh Bachchan is a name that doesn’t need any introduction and is admired all around the world. Last year, in November, Amitabh Bachchan faced backlash after one of his ‘innocent’ tweets caught public attention. Earlier today, Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter to express his feelings in an emotional note after paying his doctor a visit for a checkup.

Giving importance to his national language Hindi, the star reminisced over some memories he holds with his mother. Apparently, Amitabh Bachchan previously noticed a dot in his left eye which was causing severe irritation. Concerned and worried, Bollywood’s Big B then went to his doctor but fortunately, no bad news poured in from the hospital.

Stating his sentimental childhood memories, Amitabh Bachchan then wrote a heartwarming letter regarding his mother. Particularly, the actor shared, ”Baayen aankh pharaknay lagi. Suna the bachpan main ashubh hota hai. Gaye dikhanay doctor ko to nikaala ye, ek kaala dhabba aankh ke andar. Doctor bola kuch nahin hai. Umar ki waja se jo safed hissa aankh ka hota hai, wo ghis gaya hai”.

Further, Amitabh Bachchan recalled the time when his mother would put her warm dupatta on his eyes at such times. He recalled, ”Jaisay bachpan main maa apnay pallu ko gol bana kar, phoonk maar kar, garam kar ke aankh main laga deti thie’n, waisa karo sab theek ho jaaega. Maa tou ab hain nahin. Bijlee se kapra garam kar ke laga liya hai. Par baat kuch bani nahin. Maa ka pallu, maa ka pallu hota hai’‘.

It is indeed a wonderful yet emotional post by the Bollywood star for his mother Teji Bachchan, who died back in 2007. Soon after the post went up, fans and admirers started pouring in their love and concerns over the actor’s bad health. Due to illness, Amitabh Bachchan previously couldn’t even attend the last National Film Awards where he was given the ‘Dada Saheb Phalke’ award.
