‘I Had Beef With People’, Priyanka Chopra Revealed Why She Left Bollywood
People have been raising their voices against Priyanka Chopra ever since she left Bollywood and labeled her with various names.
After hearing a lot, she has come forward and revealed dark insights about her leaving Bollywood.
She shared that she has been pushed into the corner in the industry and had beef with several people in B-Town.
It was shocking for everyone when she expressed everything and left speechless. She recently appeared on the “Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard” podcast.
Priyanka Chopra Shares, Why She Left Bollywood
Firstly, the Hollywood star shared that she had beef with people. She said, “I was being pushed into a corner in the industry. I had people not casting me for reasons… had beef with people. I was tired of politics. ‘I need a break.’”
“This music thing allowed me to go into another part of the world, not crave for the movies I wanted to get but I would require to schmooze certain clubs and cliques of people and it would require, like, groveling and I had worked for a long time by then that I didn’t feel like I wanted to do it,” Chopra Jonas said on the podcast.
“So when this music thing came, I was like fuck it. I’m gonna go to America, and Interscope was amazing. They threw the building at me.”
She mentioned all the singing stars she worked with such as Pitbull and Will. I.Am, Pharell Williams, and even met JayZ. However, when the music career did not pan out, she quickly realized she was ‘much better at my day job’.
Priyanka no doubt had a great career in Hollywood, she landed herself the lead role in ABC’s Quantico.
Since then, Priyanka has been seen in Baywatch, Matrix: Revolutions, and The White Tiger and will soon headline her second show, Citadel. She also has a film up for release in May, Love Again.
