Kushal Punjabi Committed Suicide Leaving Behind A Suicide Note!

Devastating news surfaced regarding death of actor Kushal Punjabi. He was found hanging in his Mumbai flat. Bollywood isn’t accustomed to celebrity suicides, so the news of Punjabi passing away at the age of 37 is shocking. Previously, Sri Devi passed away in mysterious circumstances; she reportedly drowned to death in her bathtub. Now, Punjabi was recovered by family and friends with a one and half page long suicide note, this Thursday.

Actor Kushal Punjabi’s body was found hanging through the ceiling fan.

It is truly sad how stress, depression, and tough circumstances lead to such decisions. At least this is what seemed to be the case in Punjabi’s suicide. His family and friends told the police how Punjabi was contemplating divorce following a rough patch in his marriage with a foreigner. His wife worked in Shanghai and was insistent of him relocating. However, Kushal was of a different opinion.

The police informed, “Punjabi’s wife Audrey Dolhen, a foreign national, is employed in Shanghai and wanted him to relocate. But he wanted both of them to move to a place where he could pursue his acting career,”

‘A person shouldn’t be judged by his actions’ is what he wrote in his suicide note.

In addition to the statement regarding not to be judgemental, he also wrote about his property and valuables. Kushal requested for his property to be divided among his parents, sister and three-year-old son. Moreover, he wrote that 50% of his property and investments should be given to his son and the other 50% to parents and his sister.

Also mentioned in his suicide note was his imported bike, flat in Kandivli and the Rs 12 lakh he invested through his CA to be shared equally by them. As for his car, it was left for his mother.

Kushal was reached out when he didn’t attend any calls from his loved ones. Similarly, just recently a television personality Jagee John was also found dead in her house. Further, Kushal’s acting career has been decent. He worked alongside Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra in ‘Andaaz’ and with Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta in ‘Lakshya’.

Kushal Punjabi couldn’t live through to achieve so much in his life. However, he definitely left a sad reminder of how depression can cripple the soul and mental stability of a person; which leads them to take their own lives. The deep sadness and hopelessness eat away until there is no will left to live.
